A Case of the Mondays, #5

I made a surprising discovery while looking at this page in the Office Cheesy Vendor Calendar.  When I was trying to match the greenish-brown background I was quite surprised to find the matching color on this particular strip.  I love the darker green, but not particularly the lighter, more yellow-y version.

Bonus assignment:  What is a hue that you like when it is dark, but not so much as its lighter version (or vice versa)?
